These resets are characteristically universal and elemental. Progressives and globalists seek to change the world as it is into something it has never been. Their worldview encompasses all aspects of what they see in their mind’s eye. All things are important and relative to the equation, and therefore, the reset vision is universal.
Defined participants are more concerned about their individual contribution and survivability. The Republican party, the Democratic party, city government, small business owners, the energy industry, local health care authorities, and evangelicals are examples of elemental specific entities engaged in reflective review of their structure and roles going forward. There are many more examples. However, how each of these independent groups address their individual resets will have impact on the success or failure of the progressives and the globalists.
The debate in reference to the coming Great Reset could, in fact, be described as the Great Dance of competing purposes. These smaller resets seem independent of each other, yet they are connected. New government policy depends upon political party delivery systems. Global health care management is dependent upon local health care authorities to provide services. The Great Debate of values is central in conclusion to evangelical unity and political hegemony.
Ignorance of the cross-influencing impact of multiple, simultaneous resets can lead to societal disaster. The Industrial Revolution changed the world forever in pervasive functional components. The migration of people from rural areas to cities, wealth creation, trade, education, communications, and dependence upon each other, changed not only dramatically, but forever. The filtering of resets, universally and elementally, led to consequences that were not just unintended, they were unrealized at the time.
Europe, the leading economic center of the world in the era, struggled with the transition from kingships and royalty to secular commerce. World War I was a direct result of this inability to accept the imposed combination of resets. The Roaring Twenties were a historical result of the United States’ role as an economic outlier without the traditional experience of managing growth with discipline. The financial crash of 1929, and the government’s reaction to it from 1931-1933, resulted in the Great World Recession. Europe’s lack of ability to address the resets in the midst of war and depression led to the rise of Adolph Hitler, German fascism, and the tragedy of World War II.
What we celebrate today by the defeat of Nazi forces to defend freedom actually began in 1776 with the United States Declaration of Independence from Great Britain. The Crown then, as the European crowns in the early 1900s, failed to understand and properly react to forces imposing great reset.
Reset is certainly coming economically, socially, governmentally, elementally, and universally. How we deal with it will determine how we are changed by it. Emerging struggles are apparent. But struggles need not be destructive if the effort of pursuit is measured each day by the advancement of freedom. The great difference between this coming Great Reset and the past Great Reset of the Industrial Revolution is that the latter had the benefit of time for implementation. The Spanish flu of 1918-1920 was disruptive but not determinative in change. COVID-19 has collapsed the time society has to react, and is determinative in the change. Economic systems upon return will never be the same. Many normal habits of society taken for granted will go through their own immediate reset. Food production and distribution, travel, education, business meetings, and entertainment are changed forever overnight.
Any unit of human existence, from the individual to the family to the government to the nation, can be impacted beyond recognition of ‘what was’ before the unit is aware of ‘what is’ is out of control and at the point of no return, i.e., Germany in 1939.
It is virtually impossible to comprehend the manifestation of the multitude of resets in the moment. What is critical is for each of us to be vigilant in our stewardship of freedom. The measure of every action, the support of every policy, the compendium of every debate must be: does it or does it not ultimately lead to freedom of the individual? By paying excruciating attention to the protection of liberty each step of the way, never making excuse for convenience, truth will self-illuminate. Taking stock in the most minimal observation will eliminate the possibility that the greater aggregate will result in a future we neither want nor recognize.
America is the singular hope of the world in defense of totalitarianism. No matter how well meaning the Great Reset universalists may or may not be, the simple fact is that freedom and individual liberty are paramount to any objective or worldview of a government’s purpose as superior over the people’s individual pursuit of happiness.
May we never, never cease to be vigilant in protection of freedom for the generations. Each generation’s mission is to never let events overtake any policy rendering their country unrecognizable to their founding principles at the point of no return.
