Volume 10, Issue 45
Thanksgiving is the beginning of the season to reflect on God’s grace pursuant to the natural order of society. First, individual anxiety must be restrained from the confusion rendered by those who would distort the ordained authorities of life. Second, peace must be accepted in the fact that birth is not destiny.
Confidence therefore is absolute that one’s destiny is based on one’s own authority. The family is the social unit of authority for morality. And the city is the authority to direct the collective moral will of families through government policy compatible with the moral imperative of the people.
This is the essence of the altruism of the founding of the United States of America. God is sovereign over mankind, and mankind is sovereign over government. It was never the purpose of the natural order for people to be subservient to the moral dictates of government. Government exists to serve the people, never questioning the people’s will or their vision for pursuit of happiness.
Presently, government leaders have lost bearing in their governmental relationship with the citizens. They are oblivious to the fact that the agenda they choose to advance is their own. They don’t even take the time to look back and see that no one is following them. The results of the recent midterm elections confirm the electorate’s dissatisfaction with both national political parties and the leadership of elected officials.
People are resoundingly declaring they want self-sacrificing servants to provide common sense policy necessary to meet the vision they are determining from within the authority of their own families. They are desperate for candidates who actually define the worldview from whence they make decisions. They are tired of candidates not possessing the common decency to trust the average person, through the authority of their families, to decide for themselves the destiny they seek.
Self-serving, maniacally egotistical, or intellectually elite individuals who desire to control society for their own agenda are doomed to failure. Expectation that such limited perspective is in the best interest of the general public, is not only misplaced, it is incongruent with the natural ordained order.
The ultimate authority over government rests with the people. Currently, the citizens of the United States are the forgotten sovereign. The natural ordained order can be distorted, abused, or even ignored. However, it can never be replaced. Governments that continue to disrespect the worldview, the values, and the desired destiny of the citizens will ultimately be held accountable.
Take faith and rest assured that transcendent principles ordained for a peaceful and prosperous society will prevail.
This Thanksgiving, be thankful for a country that still allows for each of us, through the authority of the nuclear family, to make decisions determining our own values, worldview, and choices for pursuit of happiness.
Defend this authority of the family. For in its structure is found the peace, the security, and the future prosperity of an ordained society
