It is important to distinguish between regional resets and global resets. Germany experienced hyperinflation in the early 1930s. However, this inflation was more a loss of purchasing power of the Deutsche Mark rather than widespread inflation in adjoining countries. The British pound was the world’s reserve currency at the time. A hundred-pound note was a safety valve for the preservation of wealth.
Pressures imposed by cultural purity, economic demands, and government mismanagement work independently of each other, but in a direct relational association of cause and effect. These pressures may, in fact, peak differently at the same time in countries and cultures regionally worldwide. When the societies of sovereign nations experience imposition in their efforts to bend the rules of principles for their own desires of purpose, a global reset is the denouement. The prescription of a universal reset is a reckoning.
Such reckonings of paramount reset would include the fall of the Roman Empire and the Reformation of the Middle Ages. In recent history, World War II was the major event in a long list of cultural, economic, and government mistakes. World War I, the Great Depression, and World War II were caused by miscalculations, irrational emotions, and lack of deference to absolute moral principles.
The world today is quickly approaching a reset reckoning.
A major earthquake can at times be predicted by precursor tremors. Society is similar in that social disruption is often the harbinger of greater turbulence in economic or government systems. The immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border can actually be traced to colonial oppression and flawed constitutional governments. The debt ceiling debate in the United States is really the excuse of government policy that has allowed continuing deficits without measure for economic equilibrium. The world banking crisis is the result of a private sector financial system making misplaced bets in an environment of inconsistent government vision. The war in Ukraine is the extension of one sovereign government’s need to perpetuate its position of power at the expense of another peaceful nation. China’s efforts to destabilize the dollar as the world’s reserve currency is the end of a thirty-year journey to validate totalitarian government. The protests in the United States over recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions are the manifestations of a centuries-old revolt against the parameters of state authority. The emerging monetary doctrine of a digital currency is the symptom of the government’s need to channel economic activity.
And finally, mass shootings are now eclipsing all previous records in number and randomness. They appear to be without any rational motivation or outcome for cause. Psychiatrists are at a loss for explanation as to the extent of the epidemic. One explanation could simply be the tensions rendered in the current circumstances of an impending reset reckoning.
World governments are collectively in debt beyond sustainability. The world Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is approximately $94 trillion. Structured debt is in excess of $120 trillion. Contingency debt is in excess of $300 trillion. The next economic decisions made by government leaders must be carefully considered. Overreaction to any perceived crisis must be approached with calm. There was no reason for World War I to be the result of an assassination of an archduke.
The solutions required to relieve the steam of a societal pressure cooker is to allow for as much freedom as possible at the local level of society. Family and city authority are on the front lines of decision-making for what is best for individuals. Job security, basic education, responsible healthcare, safety, and religious freedom are the ingredients for a stable society. It is imperative, as the reset unfolds, that citizens hold their leaders accountable to be sacrificial for the people’s needs rather than for the maintenance of the leaders’ personal power.
There are three centers of government influence in the world that are competing for the architecture of the new reset: the United States, Europe, and China. Europe desires an extension of a government-managed economic system to serve the people’s cultural needs. Europe’s design was tried once in the colonial era and failed. It is as if they want to reconstruct this model through the world government’s acquiescence to manage society. China is determined to enforce a totalitarian system that to date has failed. They are intent on dictating to the world their policies to control society. Only the United States believes in respecting the local authority of cities and families. America, as a culture, does not seek to manage or control individuals, only to facilitate the freedom of society.
Understanding reset annotation as the pressure continues to build towards the natural reconciliation of forces is essential. Absolute vigilance is required from every citizen that leaders do not make mistakes, overreact, and miscalculate the consequences of errant policy.
Learning from our past, determining to do better, and loving our neighbors as ourselves, is the best that we can do in this system of things. Holding our leadership to the transcendent principles to which we are committed for each other…
Is our mission as citizens.
