Volume 6, Issue 45
Citizens of the world know that critical decisions made by the United States government impact their lives directly. Oddly enough, President Trump is not as unpopular overseas as the American TV broadcast journalists would have you believe.
CNN is the primary news source for world news. They report that the elections are by no means a foregone conclusion for either Republicans or Democrats. Early voting appeared to favor Republicans. Later voting appears to favor Democrats as urban voters in districts that President Trump carried by less than 10 points are turning out in higher numbers. Thank goodness elections do come to an end. We will know the results soon enough.
Most believe that the elections are about Donald Trump and his personality. There is much discussion about the Trump base being comprised of those who feel left out. There is one other less vocal emotion underpinning these elections; it is felt by those who believe in freedom, free enterprise, less government, and accountability of the Establishment. It’s not all about immigration or social issues. If there are any surprises tomorrow, it will not necessarily be that America is more divided on ethnic issues. It may be that citizens will instinctively seek and accept liberty by any means.
Whatever you do, vote. Take confidence in the fact that your vote not only matters in the U.S. elections, the outcome of the elections matter to the entire world.
More Wednesday.
